Ranzenhofer Secures Transportation Aid for Upstate NY

As a member of the Senate Transportation Committee and Co-Leader of the WNY Delegation, Mike understands the importance of investing in our infrastructure.

The  Governor’s Executive budget proposal shortchanged Upstate Roads and Bridges by almost $6 billion when compared to downstate’s MTA capital program.  Senator Ranzenhofer made restoring transportation parity one of his top priorities.

Due to Mike’s efforts and those of his upstate colleagues, the budget included $27.1 Billion for upstate roads and bridges and again increases record funding for CHIPS funding which gives direct support to local governments for road and bridge maintenance.
